Roadmap

What Paart already does, what is being built, and what we are considering — including sync destinations other than iCloud. No dates: states, not promises.

A date on a roadmap is a promise that goes stale without anyone noticing. A state is either true today or it is not.

What we build after the first release is decided by what people ask for — which is why the last section below is a vote rather than a list of our own intentions.

Built

In the app today, and in the first release.

• Imports the configurations you already have, by file or QR code
• Several tunnels at once on current macOS, when their subnets do not overlap
• Split DNS: a client's domains resolved by their DNS, the rest of your queries by yours
• Keeps your connections in step across your own devices, through your own iCloud, sealed with a passphrase we never see
• Files connections into folders, sorts and filters them, and shares them as text with their QR code
• Watches the resources that matter on each connection and shows their state as soon as the tunnel is up
• Filters logs by connection, shows only errors, exports and shares them
• Switches DNS from a menu, without reopening a single configuration

Considering

Nothing here is decided. What gets built after the first release is decided by what people ask for, and this is where you ask.
